How to drink but not get drunk while on a date!

24.03.23

Your client has invited you out for drinks, or he wants you to join him as his arm candy at a social event? Or maybe he wants to have a drink with you before going down to business?

As an escort, when you are on a date with a client, there is a drinking etiquette that it is best for you to follow, so that you can make sure everything will go down smoothly.

Remember, you are there to offer you date your companionship, to offer him your undivided attention and to make a great impression. And drinking side by side with your date is never the right thing to do!

So, what do you do when your date takes you out for cocktails or a glass of wine?

Here is the drinking etiquette you need to follow if you want to impress your date and even turn him into a regular:

  1. The dress

The dress you’re about to wear on a night out for drinks with a date has to be two things: long enough and of a darker color.

Wear a dress that’s in a darker color so that you can avoid messing your outfit if it happens to spill your drink. Accidents happen, and you don’t want to wear a dress with a red stain caused by you spilling some red wine on you.

So, if you know there are going to be food and drinks involved, make sure you wear a dress in a color that allows you to still look good even if you get a little dirty.

Also the lengths of the dress is important, because you want to look classy and elegant, and not worry about wearing a dress that’s too short or too tight and can reveal too much.

  1. The drinks

If you’re at a restaurant and you want to have some wine, always go for a rose or white wine, because they are lighter and don’t stain your teeth.

When you go out for cocktails, with your date, make sure to order something that’s: 1. Lower in alcohol and 2. Somethings that’s not a mix of too many types of alcohol.

Another thing to consider is avoiding carbonated drinks due to bloating and gas.

Stay fun but keep it sober. And make sure you have some water in between drinks. This way you make a good impression, while also keeping your date company.

  1. The food

If you have the chance, make sure to eat something before going out for drinks with your date, this way you won’t drink on an empty stomach. Greasy foods are the best when it comes to prepping yourself before drinking.

Also, when on the actual date, make sure you are also eating something more than a salad. You don’t have to have a big meal, but something that can annihilate the effect of alcohol on an empty stomach.

  1. The etiquette

Always make sure you tell a friend where you are going, when you’re on a date with a client. Another thing to remember is to have cash on you, so that you can pay for your meal/drinks/cab, if the situation goes sideways and you feel uncomfortable and eager to leave. Never drink side by side with your date.

You don’t have the physical constitution and the resistance to alcohol a man does, and if you do this is not the time to show off your drinking skills.  Don’t make the mistake of drinking every time your date says “cheers”. Raise the glass, smile, and only make the gesture of taking the glass to your mouth, without actually taking a sip.

Now that you know the rules of drinking while you’re out on an escort date, just have fun, relax and keep our advice in mind!
