Breast Implant Illness – a real thing to look after!

03.08.20

Who hasn’t thought at least once in her life weather she should or should not opt for breast implant surgery, especially in the escorting industry where it’s all about the looks and the curves, plastic surgery is really important?

But here comes the catch! Did you found yourself complaining of muscle pain, fatigue, shortness of breath, problems concentrating or remembering things, rashes, anxiety, a dryness of the mouth or eyes? Well, all these symptoms put together may be connected to the Breast Implant Illness, if you’ve had breast augmentation done in the past, of course!

According to the statistics provided by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, it appears that more and more women are going for the breast augmentation surgery, in order to have a fuller cleavage and a bustline that can give them the confidence they are looking for.

Worldwide, over two million women are doing breast augmentation surgery, with USA, Brazil, Mexico and Germany, leading the way. But, in the last years, some common symptoms have made many of the breast implants owners think twice weather they may or may not experience the Breast Implant Illness.

It appears that many symptoms that were until now linked with diverse autoimmune diseases but didn’t reacted positive to the specific treatment for that type of illness, may actually be linked to the fact that the patient was having breast implants!

What’s the Breast Implant Illness?

Breast Implant Illness is a term used to refer to a range of symptoms that may develop after the patient had reconstruction or augmentation with breast implants. According to the doctors that are diagnosing this type of illness, the type of breast implant is not actually important, because the symptoms may occur with any type of implant from silicone gel-filled, to saline-filled ones.

The symptoms to look for when it comes to the Breast Implant Illness

Every person can be affected differently, but in most cases of Breast Implant Illness, there are two or more of the following symptoms, present in the daily life.

We are talking about joint and muscular pain, constant fatigue, problems with the short-term memory, incapability to concentrate, sleeping problems, rashes or other skin problems, the sensation of dry mouth and eyes and problems breathing correctly.

Other symptoms that when combined may be linked to the Breast Implant Illness are anxiety and depression, gastrointestinal problems, hair loss and headaches.

All these symptoms can appear right after you’ve had the surgery or years later. But if you seem to encounter a couple of the problems mentioned above and all the treatments suggested by the doctors you’ve been seeing are not working, you might want to consider seeing your plastic surgeon and have your implants removed.

Keep in mind that according to specialists, removing the implants has proved to be efficient in over 60 percent of the studied cases. Also, some people with Breast Implant Illness may also have an autoimmune disorder like lupus, scleroderma or rheumatoid arthritis.

Your plastic surgeon must try to rule out other potential causes of the symptoms you’re experiencing, like analyzing the test results you have so far, the way your body responded to treatment for other conditions and so on, before deciding to remove the implants.

Switching to another type of implant doesn’t seem to work in terms of alleviating your symptoms, because all implants have shells made out of silicone and the patient may probably have a predisposition to reacting to implants, so the symptoms may reappear.

The treatment for Breast Implant Illness

The treatment consists in removing the breast implant. But the most important thing is how it is removed! Together with the implants, the surrounding scar tissue capsules must also be removed.

Some specialists do an “en bloc capsulectomy”, meaning that they remove the implant and the capsule around it in one piece, so that the substances in the implant won’t escape into the body, while others do a “total capsulectomy”, that involves removing the implant and the capsule one by one, not in one piece like they do it in the other procedure.

Pay attention to the signals your body is sending you, make the connection, go see a specialist and see if you are one of the persons that are having a bad reaction to the implants you’re having. Better sexy with a smaller bust, than in pain!
