Escort Advertising: Build your Network

09.10.14

We’ve focused a lot on online advertising for escorts: listing in directories (like escortdirectory, which is completely free), setting up your own website, posting ads etc. There is so much you can do online to improve your business and expand your clientele that it’s easy to sometimes forget the value of word-of-mouth and real life networking.

Bringing in new clients through recommendations can lead to a much more organic growth in customers. While online advertising will tend to bring in higher numbers of clients, they will most likely be single encounters that will not lead to anything else, and, let’s face it, we all know the best clients are the loyal ones, who you can build a rapport with.

Much of escorting is about intimacy and fulfilling needs other than sexual ones, but it’s hard to reach a deeper connection from one solitary encounter. Clients who seek out escorts outside of the internet are usually in search of something more substantial – a human connection, more than the physical touch. This is why it’s very important to not ignore this area. Here are a couple of ways to expand your escort network:

1. Suggest your clients recommend you. Offer them a couple of your calling cards and suggest your clients recommend you if they feel comfortable doing so. Many will be a little restrained about doing this, but try convincing them nonetheless. Once a new client comes from a referral, it’s much easier for you to go through the verification process. Find out which client referred you and make sure you give them an extra treat next time! On the house. This will stimulate them to refer you further.

2. Befriend the concierge or receptionist at local hotels. Scout some of the hotels nearby and take a look at their clients. If you see a lot of men going there, who seem to have travelled alone, then that might be the right hotspot for your services. See what you can find out from the concierge, but don’t be too risqué. Build a relationship with that person and later find out if any of the clients are ever looking for your types of services. You can do the same with bars and bartenders.

3. Befriend other escorts. Yes, contrary to popular belief, other escorts are not just your competition. They can also refer clients to you. Now, I know what you’re thinking – they’ll probably refer the bad ones just to spite you, but that’s not necessarily true. If some of your escorts have a certain niche they’re not willing to get out of, and have a client come in, who is looking for something else, you’ll be the first to know. The same holds true for very busy companions, who simply do not have the time to take in new clients. You can even make agreements with other escorts to pass customers on.

While online advertising can get you large numbers of clients, the importance of real life referrals and word-of-mouth should not be forgotten!
