Keep Your Vagina Healthy - Part One

13.09.19

A couple of years ago we talked about the importance of taking care of your vagina. Keeping it healthy will save you a world of health troubles. After all, your sex life isn’t limited to just one partner. Your line of work means a lot of clients, so it’s crucial that you keep your lady bits in tip-top condition.

In our older post, we told you what smells to look out for that might signal a health issue with your pussy and we introduced you to the most frequent vaginal health problems. Take a look at that short guide and get ready as we delve deeper into the matter today.

Here is part one of the best ways to keep your lady friend clean and healthy!

Go to the doc regularly

If you haven’t already, make your gynecologist your best friend. They will make sure that you stay healthy and happy. And, based on whatever symptoms your vagina exhibits, they’ll take care of the matter promptly, so that you can return to work asap and do what you love most. Never ever postpone your visits.

Your doc will tell you to get an annual PAP smear and a pelvic exam. They will also tell you to come in-between that so you can be checked for various infections and STDs.

Front to back

What’s that, you say? We think the following tip doesn’t receive the same attention that others do. Without further ado: after you’re done with number two in the bathroom, wipe yourself from front to back, not the other way around. That way, fecal bacteria won’t get anywhere near your sensitive vagina. If you don’t comply with this rule, you will end up with bladder infection, which means bed rest for a while.

Examine your fanny regularly

Grab your favorite mirror and point it at your vagina. Then see how it looks like. Take time to do it thoroughly and check your discharge, too, while you’re at it. Does it look yellow or any other unusual color? Do you feel a weird smell? Has it been itching for several days now? Make an appointment with your gynecologist and tell them. Do you experience pain while peeing or having sex? Tell them that, too.

Say no to silicone- or water-based lubes

Do you love using lubricants a lot? Great, it’s just that you need to ditch those based on alcohol, Vaseline, and other substances, because they will simply dry your vagina like no other. Its balance will be changed and the natural lube it produces will decrease, which… not ideal at all. The next time you buy lube, see that it’s based on either silicone or water.

Condoms for the win

It goes without saying that protection is super important, especially when you’re an escort. First of all, condoms make it difficult for dangerous bacteria to spread to your private parts. Second: STDs are kept at a safe distance thanks to them.

If your client pulls the “Oh, but I don’t like doing it with a condom on,” tell them to walk out the door or, in case you’re on outcall duty, get up and leave. Did your customer simply forget to bring protection? Always keep some condoms close-by and make sure they put it on.

Are you a fan of switching between vaginal, anal, and oral sex? Your client must take the condom off and put a new one on their penis for every single one of those times. It’s also a good idea to tell your customer to use a dental dam before they offer to perform cunnilingus. Why? Because you’ll stay safe against yeast infection and herpes.

We’ll be back with more tips for you next month, so stay tuned!
